Chef de Partie Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, maintaining strict food safety requirements and presentation standards to ensure a seamless dining experience for our customers.
  • Liaise with the management team to ensure smooth restaurant operations, implementing best practices in serving customers and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Organize and manage inventory of kitchen supplies, ensuring the use of high-quality produce and necessary culinary items to maintain our menu offerings.
  • Supervise, train and coordinate other kitchen staff as needed, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of our kitchen team.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Able to oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef, maintaining stringent hygiene regulations and ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality cuisine.
  • Execute all menu items and implement necessary changes or adjustments to food preparation, ensuring consistency and accuracy in our dishes.
  • Knowledge of the preparation and presentation of different types of seafood, including fish, crustaceans and mollusks.
  • Meticulous, accurate, and dedicated to producing quality cuisine to a consistent high standard, always striving for excellence in every aspect of the job.
  • Certificate 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent), demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • 2+ years experience in a high-quality, fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
