Your Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Expertise: Provide technical expertise to support compliance with environmental regulations, including assessing and mitigating potential risks.
- Due Diligence: Conduct environmental due diligence reviews to identify potential environmental risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Program Development: Develop and implement regional environmental programs to drive environmentally responsible practices within the organization.
- EMS Implementation: Support the development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) to ensure compliance with ISO14001 standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to minimize environmental impacts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering/science, geology, geography, biology, chemistry or related field of study with 4+ year of experience serving as an environmental technical resource, environmental consultant, environmental manager, program specialist, or program manager.
- Experience in environmental compliance, environmental auditing, environmental permitting/reporting, waste management, environmental management systems and ISO14001 standards.
- Broad knowledge of Australian environmental regulations and licensing requirements as well as project management skills with proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
