Procurement Expert Wanted

Toll Group seeks a skilled procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing initiatives. This is a key opportunity to shape and deliver effective sourcing plans, manage procurement budgets, and drive value creation.

  • Lead vendor negotiations, support Make Good projects, and develop supplier agreements.
  • Collaborate with the Global Express team to complete contract novation and provide administrative support.
  • Develop transparent sourcing exercises, negotiate supplier agreements, and ensure effective contract implementation.
  • Deliver sourcing projects on time, achieving agreed savings and value targets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate sourcing activities against Toll's governance and transparency standards.
  • Manage supplier relationships to uphold commercial commitments and performance metrics.
  • Rolout supplier agreements across projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration).
  • Professional membership of relevant associations (e.g., CIPS).
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in strategic sourcing and commercial management.
  • Proven knowledge of supplier dynamics, leverage techniques, and the sales process.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills.
  • Able to document and present supplier selection options and recommendations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with data-driven reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

This is a fixed-term contract based in Melbourne. As the Procurement Specialist, you will work collaboratively with Data Analytics and Operational Excellence teams to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
