The Bentleys Hotel is a country pub with a focus on fresh food, local community and supporting our Homegrown Heroes in SA.

They are looking for someone to join their team who has excellent customer service skills and natural leadership qualities.

If you have experience in food, beverage, and gaming/TAB/Keno we would love to hear from you.

This role is available for casual or full-time work, with evening and weekend availability being essential.

The ideal candidate will ensure excellent and professional customer service at all times.

They will also need to understand the hotel's food and beverage offerings, as well as their till operations.

Leadership skills are required to support the ongoing training and development of the team.

The successful candidate will provide ongoing support and reliability to Venue Management.

They will also be responsible for general service duties of food and beverages, including the professional service/supply, dispensing/mixing of sophisticated drinks, liquor, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Consistent and professional delivery of the venue's products is also required.

The ideal candidate will communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen, and other areas of operations as required.

They will also maintain the clean and neat presentation of the work area - bar and restaurant area(s) by adherence to all operating policies and procedures.

Safe Work Procedures must be followed for all areas of the hotel at all times as per WHS Act 2012.

Personal compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is also required.

Other duties may be directed by Management.

Key requirements include current RSA and RP badge, two hospitality references, flexible and reliable nature, excellent communication skills, organisation, leadership qualities, ability to learn and grow, knowledge of relevant work health and safety legislation and food safety standards, competent and trustworthy cash-handling skills, responsible service of alcohol, food and beverage experience, exceptional customer service skills, availability for night shifts and weekends (essential), Responsible Person Badge/Experience, TAB and Keno experience (preferred), Basic Gaming Certificate (preferred).

Australian residents or unrestricted visa holders only.

Must currently live in or near Clare with a license and vehicle/ability to get to and from work.
