A detail-oriented and motivated Project Engineer is required to manage and execute multi-family construction projects across the Southeastern United States. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating daily operations, including planning, scheduling, and managing site activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to oversee daily operations.
- Assist in executing historic renovation projects by ensuring preservation standards and local regulations are met.
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors on-site to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and other construction-related paperwork.
- Schedule support: Maintain project schedules, ensuring tasks are completed on time and resources are effectively allocated.
- Quality control: Ensure all construction work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Safety compliance: Support safety initiatives by ensuring safety protocols are followed on-site.
- 2-5 years of experience in construction, preferably in multi-family or residential projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Basic knowledge of construction processes, materials, and scheduling.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify issues on-site and find solutions that keep the project on track.
