Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to lead the implementation of new financial systems and processes within our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, business process redesign, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the RFP Process: Oversee the end-to-end RFP process to select a suite of new financial systems, focusing on investment management and accounting processes.
  • Business Process Redesign: Collaborate with stakeholders to scope, redefine, and optimize business processes to align with new systems.
  • Implementation Leadership: Manage the implementation of selected systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and drive efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing clear communication and project updates.
  • System Integration: Ensure seamless integration between financial management, accounting, and reporting systems.
  • Support Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the implementation of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting systems, focusing on improving accuracy and functionality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a financial services or investment management firm.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting processes and familiarity with financial management/ERP systems (MRI, Yardi, or similar).
  • Experience with AP Automation.
  • Experience leading RFP processes and managing large-scale system implementations.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting tools and management reporting systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and drive successful outcomes.
