We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Haematology Nurse to join our team at Royal North Shore Hospital. The successful candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to patients using an individualised holistic approach, working closely with the Primary Nurse (Registered Nurse) and within professional role limits.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a registered nurse who wants to specialise in haematology. As a Haematology Nurse, you will work under both direct and indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse, consulting with them to ensure delegation is commensurate with your level of competence and within local health district policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients using an individualised approach.
- Work under both direct and indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Consult with the Registered Nurse to ensure delegation is commensurate with your level of competence.
Requirements
- AHPRA registration as a registered nurse.
- Post-registration experience in an acute hospital environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
