Role Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Emergency Services Captain to cover our Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) Contract on a casual basis. This position requires coverage at both Jandakot and Bunbury.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (H)
  • Have a valid Instrument Rating - Commercial Multi Engine Helicopter (IR-C-ME(H)) with a minimum of 3 renewals
  • Accumulate 3000 hours of flying experience (H)
  • Gain 2000 hours of flying experience as Pilot-In-Command (PIC) (H)
  • Achieve 1200 hours of multi-engine command (H) experience
  • Hold a current AW139 Type Rating, with 100 hours of PIC experience on type
  • Obtain an NVIS rating
  • Complete 200 hours of night flying experience
  • Possess a Low Level rating with Winch Endorsement
  • Successfully complete a Single Pilot IPC and EMS line check in the AW139
  • Hold a Current Valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • Have previous single pilot SAR/EMS experience

Applicants must be an Australian citizen and able to hold and maintain applicable clearances for the position.
