People Services Coordinator Job Description

  Key Responsibilities:

  - Coordinate and support recruitment activities that enable us to attract and engage the right people.

  - Contributing to broader recruitment and onboarding strategies that work towards efficiency and best practice.

  - Facilitate a positive start for new employees by preparing employment contracts, variations, and secondment documentation in alignment with organisational requirements.

  - Ensure all necessary screening and compliance checks are completed ahead of commencement, supporting safety and integrity across SHM's workforce.

  - Be the first point of contact for all People & Culture enquiries.

  Requirements:

  - Diploma in Human Resources or tertiary qualification in HR.

  - Solid previous experience working as People Services/P&C coordinator in a fast-paced environment.

  - Experience in recruitment coordination to a high standard including preparation of contemporary recruitment strategies and documentation.

  - Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements provisions.

  - Experience in playing an active part in P&C projects.
