Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Refinery Operations Manager to oversee the operation of our manufacturing plant, ensuring the production of high-quality vegetable oil products while maintaining efficient use of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment and supervise manufacturing processes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor workflow, processing variables, and personnel utilization to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and develop mechanical equipment, machines, and plant flow to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Establish work measurement programs and analyze operational data to determine optimum production results.
  • Develop specifications for process equipment and materials to ensure optimal operation.
  • Coordinate and execute maintenance of plant building and equipment in accordance with established schedules and manufacturer's instructions.

Quality & Food Safety Responsibilities:

  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing company standards.
  • Report any potential food safety and quality incidents.
  • Comply with company food safety and quality policy and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Victorian Worksafe Licence to Perform High Risk Work (required).
  • First Aid Certification (preferred).

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, Permanent position.
  • No remote work allowed.
