Civil Infrastructure Project Coordinator Role

Our organization is collaborating with a local council in Melbourne's east to recruit a Civil Infrastructure Project Coordinator for a temporary contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and managing various civil infrastructure projects, including inspections and administration of permits
  • Issuing Consents and Permits in accordance with relevant legislation
  • Providing technical advice and supervision of works for private developments and subdivisions
  • Customer service advice on engineering issues
  • Assistance with development of strategies and review of systems to improve service delivery

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Certificate in civil engineering or demonstrated experience in project coordination and permit administration
  • General knowledge of the Road Management Act 2004 and Subdivision Act
  • Relevant experience in this field, including reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Able to gain cooperation from the public and other employees
  • Demonstrated sound verbal, written and influencing skills

Requirements:

  • Highly organized and efficient with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
