This role involves managing loan and lease payments, executing controls, and utilizing systems defined by management. The Commercial Finance Operations Analyst is responsible for researching analytical components related to various loan accruals, calculations, and reconciliations.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage all incoming funds via wire, IPA, and internal accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations are completed on time, and any discrepancies are researched and resolved in a timely manner.
- Monitor daily activity and review control processes relating to monetary transactions and clearing accounts.
- Prepare and process daily entries with source documentation backup to CAD and TREE.
- Process daily GL Link, comparing InfoLease reports/extracts against Synergy totals.
- Scan checks received via BIC, monitor the outgoing check file sent to FEDs to ensure Santander receives funds for checks posted in the system.
- Track incoming wire transfers and ACH transactions.
- Review and validate payments and payoffs are processed as expected.
- Update daily Treasury rate in InfoLease.
- Submit all payments and payoffs received via wire & ACH to Posting to process.
- Process payoff assets from inventory that have been sold by the workout group.
- Place stop payments on Official checks lost/stolen/destroyed and reissue.
- Complete the monthly escheatment report for the CEVF stale dated items.
- Research and respond to incoming commercial loan requests/inquiries received from business areas.
- Assist with Lockbox, ACH, Posting when necessary.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business or equivalent degree - Required.
- 3+ Years Working knowledge in Company's documentation and banking operations - Required.
- Accounting knowledge and experience.
- Excellent communication, good organizational skills, and attention to details.
- Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and instructions of management.
- Ability to adapt quickly and be a team player.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Displays a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Working knowledge in Commercial Banking.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of the Syndicated and Commercial Loan products and markets.
