Early Childhood Educator Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at both our Annandale and North Shore centres.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging and interactive learning environment for children. They will work collaboratively with other educators to implement the program in a flexible manner that is compatible with the child's needs and interests.

About the Role:

  • Assist in planning and preparing the environment, setting up the learning areas, preparing and clearing away materials and supplies.
  • Create a friendly, secure, stimulating and interactive learning environment for children at all times.
  • Implement the program in a flexible manner that is compatible with the child's needs and interests.
  • Share cleaning responsibilities relating to the group, and then with other staff in other areas of the Centre.
  • Take responsibility for the safety of the Centre's environment and its equipment.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on building partnerships with families.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Current training in Child Protection.
  • A valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and commitment to child safety.
