Personal Care Worker Job Opportunity

This role offers a chance to make a positive impact in the lives of older people, providing person-centred care and support.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative team, ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to residents. The role involves providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral and dental care, and continence care.

Additionally, you will be responsible for mobility, using aids and falls prevention, eating and drinking, aware of special dietary requirements, and basic skin care, including repositioning and application of skin creams.

Requirements
  1. A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification;
  2. NDIS Worker Clearance;
  3. Unlimited working rights in Australia;
  4. Experience in providing personal care in an aged care setting;
  5. A passion for delivering a person-centred approach to care;
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  7. An understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards;
  8. A compassionate and empathetic nature.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care and Services: Deliver care and services in accordance with the agreed Care Plan.
  • Mobility and Falls Prevention: Assist residents with mobility using aids and prevent falls.
  • Eating and Drinking: Ensure residents' dietary needs are met, aware of special requirements.
  • Basic Skin Care: Provide basic skin care, including repositioning and applying skin creams.
