Our Home is a residential aged care community set in the heart of our historic town, offering a unique and supportive environment for our residents. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our residents, providing person-centred care that meets their individual needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering care services in accordance with the resident's Care Plan
  • Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral and dental care, and continence care
  • Supporting residents with mobility, including using aids and falls prevention
  • Assisting with eating and drinking, including awareness of special dietary requirements
  • Basic skin care, including repositioning and application of skin creams
Required Skills and Qualifications">

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (or currently studying)
  • NDIS Worker Clearance
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia
  • Experience in providing personal care in an aged care setting
  • A passion for delivering person-centred care
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
