Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

Deliver exceptional results on high-profile civil bulk earthworks projects with a reputable contractor.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading site project teams, planning and scheduling construction activities, and ensuring quality assurance, cost and time management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to tenders
  • Strategic planning and scheduling of construction activities
  • Leadership of site project teams
  • Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management
  • Preparation of project reports
  • Effective resolution of site issues
  • Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
  • Coordination of internal and external resources
  • Team development and mentoring

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 5 – 15+ years' leadership experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $5m to $20m+
  • Project management qualifications advantageous
  • Proven understanding of construction with hands-on approach
  • Ability to effectively lead and delegate tasks
  • Effective problem solving abilities
  • Conflict resolution and client expectation management skills
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills

This is a full-time role based in Brisbane, QLD, with salary range A$150,000.00-A$175,000.00 per annum.
