Job DescriptionAs a pastoral care volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly people. You will work closely with a team of professionals who share your passion for improving the quality of life for those in need.
This is a rewarding and challenging role that requires strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and listening skills. You will be required to supplement and complement the work of our Residential Pastoral Care Coordinator under their direction.
- Support people to meet their spiritual needs
The following skills and qualifications are essential for this role:
- High level of interpersonal skills including strong empathy and listening skills
- Pastoral Care training, such as Chaplaincy, Clinical Pastoral Education, or HammondCare's Spiritual Care Series
Volunteers must also possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
