**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to lead our team of technicians.

The successful candidate will have expertise in the remanufacturing of large diesel engines, including those from mtu and Detroit Diesel.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and a positive attitude.

About You:

  • A trade qualification in diesel mechanics with experience in large diesel engines is essential.
  • Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience in the engine or heavy vehicle business.
  • Detailed practical working knowledge of machinery, tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of labour productivity and efficiency, with an understanding of financial ratios.
  • Effective communication skills and a can-do approach.
