We are seeking an amazing candidate who is already based in Perth or Australia to join our team. Lead & Mentor a team of mechanics. Tuart Hill Truck Sales & THT Marine Sales are looking for a capable, reliable Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Leading Hand to join the dynamic team at THT. Operating from our Perth Workshop, NO FIFO, you will be home every night.

Tuart Hill Truck Sales & THT Marine Sales is a family business since 1949 – the sole Western Australian Distributor for all FPT (Fiat Iveco) and Hyundai (Doosan) Diesel Powertrain Products for the applications of Marine, Power Generation, Industrial, and Fire Pump & Irrigation Engines, as well as on-road trucks and buses of all makes and models.

  • Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am – 4.30pm & Friday 8am – 2.30pm
Responsibilities

Lead & mentor a team of heavy diesel mechanics. Contribute to safe work practices and ensure quality workmanship.

Requirements
  • Relevant Trade Qualification as a Heavy Diesel (HD) Mechanic
  • Relevant experience as a Leading Hand or in a Leadership role or a willingness to lead a team
  • 5 years of minimum experience working on combustion engine equipment
  • Commitment to performing quality work and high attention to detail
  • Lead and mentor the team of heavy diesel mechanics
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
  • WA C Class driver's license
  • Commitment to safe work practices
  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
  • A successful candidate must be able to work independently and in a team, be self-motivated & show high attention to detail
