Job Description:

The role of a Recycling Centre Attendant is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our recycling facilities. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and tidy environment, and ensuring our equipment is running efficiently.

Our ideal candidate will possess a passion for recycling and the environment, with excellent communication skills to deliver outstanding customer service. They will be physically fit, able to lift heavy objects, and have a keen eye for detail to maintain a well-presented facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Ensure all customers receive a great experience by providing prompt assistance and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a Clean and Tidy Environment: Keep the recycling centre clean, safe, and efficient, with a focus on waste management and minimisation.
  • Perform Regular Cleaning and Maintenance Tasks: Ensure the reverse vending machines and sorting equipment are cleaned and maintained regularly to prevent downtime.
  • Monitor the Recycling Centre: Identify potential hazards and report concerns to ensure a safe working environment for team members and customers.
