Caseworkers play a vital role in safeguarding the welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety concerns for children and young people.
  • Engage with families and stakeholders to promote collaborative practice, acknowledging and respecting their culture and context.
  • Source timely and accurate information to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Model professional casework that promotes positive change in families.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' frontline experience in statutory child protection services or equivalent.
  • Completed degree in Social Work or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective working relationships.
  • A valid driver's licence and clearance number.
