Construction Supervision Opportunity
Santos Ltd is committed to providing reliable and affordable energy solutions. As part of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of contractor-led facilities construction and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead site safety and environmental management for contractors.
- Engage with stakeholders on HSE and land access issues.
- Ensure compliance with management systems and safe work procedures.
- Promote safe driving practices and adhere to IVMS performance standards.
- Report incidents and issues per DevEx procedures.
- Build strong relationships with teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Support a healthy and collaborative team culture.
- Challenge designs and methods to reduce costs and inefficiencies.
- Minimise risk of construction delays.
- Ensure quality through inspections and punch list walkdowns.
Requirements:
- Skilled professional from the oil & gas or mining industry with experience in Brownfield and Greenfield facilities construction.
- Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering is required and Certificate III in Process Operations is highly desirable.
- Experience in construction supervision and familiarity with rotating machinery, motors, and flange or pipe alignment are highly regarded.
