Citi's Risk Oversight Framework is designed to identify, measure, monitor, control and report material aggregate risks. We ensure the ability to consistently achieve objectives of the function through our risk management framework.

We are currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join our Market Risk team as a Senior Group Manager. This role involves managing multiple teams through other managers and requires a thorough understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Strategically managing market risk across various portfolios
  • Identifying, monitoring, and analyzing risks in the market-specific portfolios
  • Developing solutions to mitigate risks of those products
  • Analyzing standard loss measures, risk return metrics, and the risk appetite framework
  • Reviewing scenario analysis to assess potential financial impact
  • Economic and regulatory risk capital concepts and analyzing major drivers
  • Participating in methodology setting for Value at Risk (VaR) and reviewing inputs/outputs of VaR as well as Profit and Loss (P&L) back testing
  • Considering limit exception requests and model validation requests

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of relevant experience, subject matter expertise in financial instruments, risk metrics, and Market Risk Management, and excellent analytical, technical, and quantitative skills.
