Site Operations Manager

About the Role:
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as a Site Engineer on a FIFO 2/1 basis at a large existing mine site undergoing expansion.
As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical input, managing sub-contractors, cost tracking, progress monitoring, QA, and reporting.
The role offers a competitive remuneration package, including a day rate of up to $825 per day plus superannuation.
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical input to support project teams with bulk earthworks
- Managing sub-contractors and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
- Tracking costs and monitoring progress against project timelines
- Ensuring quality assurance and control processes are implemented and maintained
- Reporting to stakeholders on project performance and progress
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- 2-3 years' experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer in Australia
- Proven experience in earthworks projects for minesite, civil infrastructure, or industrial developments
- Previous FIFO experience and ability to work on a 2/1 roster
- Strong communication skills and a strong work ethic
- Based in Perth/WA with existing rights to work in Australia
