Court Security Officer

We are seeking professional security personnel to work as Court Security Officers at the Victorian County Court in Melbourne CBD.
Shifts can span from Monday to Friday commencing between 7:30am and 6:30pm, with casual positions available with prompt start.
Key Responsibilities- Providing friendly and efficient customer service to all individuals entering the facility
- Conducting x-ray screening to detect and remove prohibited items from entering
- Roving security patrols inside and outside of the building
- Conflict resolution and negotiation
- Managing access control systems
- Writing detailed and accurate reports
- Monitoring and responding within courtrooms
- Working alongside Corrections Victoria and Victoria Police PSOs
- A current Victorian Security Licence
- Minimum of Certificate II in Security Operations
- First Aid Accreditation and CPR Qualification
- Available to complete a 4-week fully paid, full-time training program that is completed on the job.
- $35.72 p/h + 11.5% Super + $6.82 first aid allowance per shift
