Job Opportunity: Office Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team in Townsville, tasked with leading and supporting activities in successful project delivery, business development, cross-team collaboration, and motivating staff to perform at their best.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling enquiries on major projects within the local geographical area, developing and enhancing relationships between internal and external clients and team members, supporting staff with their overall health, safety, physical and mental wellbeing, leading by example on company purpose, core values and vision, and contributing to regular technical discipline and company planning meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of a large office with multi-discipline staff
  • Fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Overseeing staff performance and providing coaching and guidance as needed
  • Leading by example in terms of company culture and values
  • Contributing to business growth and development through strategic planning and execution

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Confidence and experience in professional services management
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in engineering, planning, science or a related field
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in managing a large office with multi-discipline staff
