Senior Mechatronics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. As a visionary in the field of Mechatronics Engineering, you will be responsible for designing and programming cutting-edge control systems for truck-mounted elevated work platforms.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in CPU programming, automation, and electronics, with a proven track record of developing and implementing complex control systems. You will work closely with mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure that the control systems meet operational requirements and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Program Control Systems: Design and program CPU-based control systems for truck-mounted EWPs, ensuring precise, safe, and smooth operation of mechanical and hydraulic components.
  • Embedded System Design: Design and integrate embedded systems for automation and control functions in EWPs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure that the control systems meet operational requirements and specifications.
  • Software Development: Write and test software for electronic control units (ECUs) to manage the platforms' movements, safety features, and diagnostics.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize existing control systems to enhance performance, safety, and reliability.
  • Simulation and Testing: Perform simulations and prototype testing to ensure the functionality and efficiency of the control systems.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations, and create technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, software architecture, and user manuals.
  • Training and Support: Provide support and training to the maintenance team on the control systems for repair and servicing.
