Job Title: EL1 Procurement Specialist

Join the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) as an EL1 Procurement Specialist and contribute to shaping and delivering innovative solutions for the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

About the Role:

  • Lead, plan, and manage procurement activities as directed by the Program Director and Branch Manager.
  • Provide specialist procurement advice to define requirements, conduct planning, develop strategies, manage supplier negotiations, and ensure compliance with Australia's strategic policy, legislative framework, and government decision-making.
  • Review requirements and business cases and determine appropriate procurement methods.
  • Drive procurement activities working with NDIA teams and suppliers, ensuring NDIA procurement activities are compliant with legislative requirements, the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs), and the NDIA Procurement Policy.

About You:

  • Extensive procurement experience within the ICT sector with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to excel in a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain networks and experience in developing high-level written reports and briefing materials.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining meaningful relationships with external and internal stakeholders at all levels to drive positive business outcomes.
