Water Systems Manager Role

The successful candidate will oversee and manage all hydraulic services across multiple defence bases. This role requires strong project management skills, with a focus on maintaining alignment with overall goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits of hydraulic systems and processes.
  • Developing and implementing Water Quality Management (WQM) plans to ensure water quality meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Maintaining Service Definition Tables (SDT) for hydraulic services, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available at all times.
  • Managing bore water systems, including maintenance and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Preparing reports and documents as required for regulatory compliance and project management.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to the engineering team.

This position requires a tertiary qualification in Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field, along with 5 years' experience in hydraulic engineering, preferably within the defence sector or large-scale infrastructure projects.
