Surveying Professional

RPS Group, a leading global professional services firm, is seeking an experienced Surveying Professional to join our expanding survey team in Australia.
As a Surveying Professional at RPS, you will have a pivotal role in our exciting surveying projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice and management on surveying projects.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the infrastructure and development sectors.
- Conducting fieldwork, calculations, data processing, and project management.
- Offering support to the Survey Manager for resource planning and staff mentoring.
Your Skills and Abilities:
Survey:
- Competent in various survey functions, from contour and detail surveys to building set-outs and basic cadastral surveys.
- Execute survey tasks efficiently, achieving precision in results.
- Uphold quality assurance systems, conducting independent checks, following standard procedures, and maintaining meticulous records.
- Communicate effectively with fellow professionals, ensuring clear reporting to supervisors and clients.
- Engage in discussions with contractors, consultants, and clients when necessary.
Business Development:
- Cultivate and fortify relationships with clients while enhancing existing connections with internal and external partners.
- Maintain a professional public profile at all times.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of 2+ years of recent experience in surveying across diverse projects is required. Current registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as an Associate Surveyor or higher is highly regarded. Demonstrated project management skills and experience in client management and staff leadership are valued.
We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
