About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our Westpac Institutional Bank team. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the development of high-value, high-quality products within our Agile Execution Framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Product Manager in executing the overall product strategy.
  • Manage product stakeholders, balancing customer and business needs.
  • Work closely with the Squad CX lead to ensure customer-centered design.
  • Ensure products meet business controls, security, legal, and compliance requirements.
  • Maximize product value for customers and the division.
  • Manage the product backlog.
  • Support the squad.
  • Collaborate with product partners and vendors.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong financial services background, experience working in large and complex organizations, and experience with Agile environments. You will also have experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Power BI.
