Port Augusta Cleaning Position

Seeking a diligent and results-driven Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of client offices, medical areas and accommodations.

About the Role

This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 10 hours per week commitment, mostly during Monday to Friday, however, weekend work may also become available. Additional fill in shifts may be available from time to time.

  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchens, including toilets, urinals, dispensers, sinks, mirrors
  • Waste, rubbish, recycling removal
  • Vacuum and wash floors, paying particular attention to corners and edges
  • Dust areas within cleaning scope
  • Replace and replenish provided supplies, eg. toilet paper, liquid hand soap, bin liners
  • Spot clean walls and other areas as required and remove cobwebs or other unsightly items
  • Monitor cleaning stock levels and communicate with Manager as needed

We are seeking a candidate who has:

  • A current national police check, and willingness to apply for other compliance checks such as working with children check
  • A driver licence and reliable personal vehicle to travel to place of work
  • Previous commercial cleaning knowledge and experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously, use initiative, and manage tasks effectively
  • High level of customer service skills with a friendly demeanour, attention to detail, and passion for cleanliness
  • Have an acceptable level of physical and mental fitness
