A prominent consultancy specializing in sustainable design and engineering is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Senior Sustainability Consultant to enhance their sustainability division in Leeds. The firm collaborates with a diverse array of esteemed clients and has a proven track record of successfully executing projects across various sectors including Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Residential, MOD, and both private and public sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in sustainability consulting and conducting BREEAM assessments. A BREEAM AP/assessor qualification and a relevant degree in sustainability, environmental studies, building services, or a related discipline are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Delivering expert guidance to clients across multiple sectors regarding sustainability policies, regulations, and best practices.
  2. Formulating and executing sustainability strategies, management plans, and action plans tailored for clients.
  3. Facilitating the achievement of sustainability certifications such as BREEAM, LEED, and WELL.
  4. Performing life cycle assessments of buildings utilizing One-Click LCA and generating carbon reports.
  5. Creating sustainability-related reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
  6. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior consultants on sustainability topics.
Qualifications:
  1. At least 3 years of experience in sustainability consulting.
  2. A relevant degree in sustainability, environmental studies, building services, or a related field.
  3. Desired qualifications in BREEAM, LEED, One-Click LCA, etc.
  4. Strong project management capabilities with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  6. Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively, engaging with members of the engineering, design, and digital teams.
  7. Robust analytical skills and the ability to tackle complex challenges.
