Sustainability Solutions Architect Job Description

As a Sustainability Solutions Architect at Schneider Electric, you will play a critical role in enabling our Managed Services Australia team to leverage Resource Advisor and its capabilities to successfully compete in the Australian sustainability consulting market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and structure client-tailored sustainability software-led service solutions, focusing on Resource Advisor, in coordination with lead salespersons.
  • Provide in-depth technical knowledge of Schneider Electric software and technical offerings to add depth and credibility to the sales process.
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFI's/RFP's and guide sales resources in developing industry-leading proposals for services.
  • Demonstrate the value of services and position them according to a strong understanding of client challenges.
  • Lead content development of standard proposals, contracts, and supporting collateral for Sustainability Services.
  • Support local and global sales teams in the sales process, aiming to win new clients and cross-sell to existing ones.
  • Communicate and educate sales and client management teams on the technical benefits of our software and platform solutions, including differentiators with other software and platforms in the market.
  • Explore, investigate, and evaluate competing platforms and solutions to inform yourself of their differences, qualities, and limitations.
  • Accompany sales teams on sales engagements, including travel throughout the sales territory as necessary.
  • Lead and educate the broader Australia team as we transition our technology stack in coming years and support change management efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven effectiveness in conducting business conversations in person and virtually at multiple levels of an organization.
