About the Role

We are seeking a Community Engagement Professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of community engagement and make a real impact.

As a Community Engagement Professional, you will provide professional advice and support on capital projects, ensuring full, open and inclusive consultation with customers and stakeholders.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop engagement plans, manage consultants and contractors, and make decisions on engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engagement plans for capital works projects.
  • Manage communication materials to support project engagement.
  • Work with external consultants and contractors on community and stakeholder engagement.
  • Make decisions on engagement activities for projects.
  • Ensure business and administrative requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in planning and managing community and stakeholder engagement for major infrastructure projects.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and specialist knowledge of IAP2 model and principles of engagement are highly desirable.
