Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

A Senior Physiotherapist Specialist will facilitate high-quality, efficient and person-centred Physiotherapist services for clients to achieve social and economic participation in their community.

This role involves leading and collaborating within a therapeutic support framework, providing individualised, person-centered, strength-based Physio services, and developing, implementing, and reviewing therapy plans with clients, families, carers, and service providers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
  • Tertiary level qualifications in Physiotherapy.
  • Experience working with people with a disability who may have a range of complex and challenging support needs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experiences in the development and implementation of Physiotherapy assessment and intervention strategies in a disability context.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop plans, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience to provide support and supervision to other staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including problem solving and negotiation skills.
