Job Description

A fantastic newly created role exists for a highly motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our LifeWorks service at our NEW centre in beautiful Cairns. This role will involve facilitating high quality, efficient, and person-centred physiotherapy services for clients to achieve social and economic participation in their community.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and collaborate within a therapeutic support framework to help clients with complex allied health needs achieve their goals and improve community participation.
  • Provide individualised, person-centered, strength-based physio services.
  • Develop, implement, and review therapy plans with clients, families, carers, and service providers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
  • Tertiary level qualifications in Physiotherapy.
  • Experience working with people with a disability who may have a range of complex and challenging support needs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experiences in the development and implementation of physiotherapy assessment and intervention strategies in a disability context.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop plans, practices, and procedures.
