Job Description

The Senior Clinical Manager will provide clinical leadership in our acute and aged care services, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit. They will be responsible for ensuring efficient patient flow, resource allocation, and adherence to clinical protocols and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and direction to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Overseeing the coordination of clinical care and operational management of the unit, including staffing and change management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire others, build effective teams, and drive positive change.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and foster collaborative relationships.
