Job Title: Senior Advisor, Ministerial and Parliamentary Services

We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor to join our team. The role will provide support to Ministerial, Executive and Parliamentary Services, as well as coordinate Ministerial and Parliamentary requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Ministerial, Parliamentary, Executive and other ad hoc requests across a range of complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Draft high-quality correspondence, briefings and advice for Senior Executives.
  • Support preparation for Parliamentary sitting weeks, Budget Estimates and public hearings, and respond to orders for papers and other requests arising from the Parliamentary process.
About You:
  • You have prior experience in a similar role.
  • You possess exceptional writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Leadership experience is also essential, with the ability to inspire and guide colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must be able to foster productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Additionally, you should be resilient, organised and self-motivated, able to manage competing priorities.
  • Finally, you should be a fast and independent learner, capable of researching and analysing new and complex subject matter, and providing timely, accurate advice.
