Senior Maintenance Lead

As a Senior Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our maintenance team. Your primary goal is to ensure that all machinery and equipment are properly maintained to prevent downtime and optimise productivity.

  • Supervise a team of skilled maintenance personnel in performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate the use of MEX maintenance software to manage and track maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues as needed, utilising your expertise in fault finding and fitting.
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure they meet company and regulatory requirements.
  • Support site maintenance across multiple locations, providing guidance and assistance as required.
  • Develop and implement training programs for operators and maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Additionally, you will:

  • Lead daily planning meetings and toolbox talks to keep the team informed and motivated.
  • Work closely with managers, suppliers, and authorities to optimise equipment performance and availability.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of site-wide maintenance plans to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Trades or Electrical disciplines (essential).
  • Proven experience in supervisory or leadership roles within a maintenance environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of machinery, systems, and maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in maintenance software (MEX preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work effectively in an electrical and mechanical environment 50/50.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
