About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Media Sales Specialist to join our Customer Success team at Spotify AB. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and partners, providing exceptional customer service, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build deep relationships with clients and partners to deliver best-in-class customer service and drive revenue growth.
  • Sales and Account Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fielding requests and questions, and communicating directly with clients throughout the sales and campaign lifecycle.
  • Media Planning and Strategy: Own the RFP response and media planning strategy across all buying channels, ensuring that client objectives are met and exceeded.
  • Campaign Management: Regularly participate in client meetings to deepen relationships, including campaign prep and launch, ongoing optimization recommendations, campaign reporting, and wrap-ups.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner with cross-functional internal organizations to structure campaigns to meet client KPIs and deliver desired outcomes.
  • Project Management: Oversee the campaign set up, launch, and activation processes, including creative production management, spec review, asset collection, and ensuring proper creative trafficking.
  • Performance Reporting and Optimization: Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, and performance reporting, and optimize/revise media plans to meet client objectives.
  • Business Development: Leverage campaign reporting and insights to proactively identify, pitch, and close incremental and expansion opportunities to help grow the business.
  • Product Expertise: Serve as the product expert, educating clients and their agencies on Spotify's new and existing products, as well as advising on best practices and bespoke campaign optimizations.
  • Data Analysis and Storytelling: Review, interpret, and present data, including brand measurement studies, providing comprehensive campaign insights, recommendations, and learnings via effective data storytelling.
  • Post-Campaign Analysis: Own the post-campaign analysis with learnings and recommendations to drive repeat business.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate cross-functionally on initial billing and revisions to ensure invoices are accurate and delivered on time.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Sales, Advertising, Marketing, or Business.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in digital media, planning, and/or buying.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong industry knowledge and a desire to grow within the digital media industry.
  • Advertising Performance Metrics: Strong understanding of advertising performance metrics and the advertising ecosystem.
  • Customer Service: Reputation of providing world-class customer service.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent dexterity in Excel and PowerPoint, and experience working within CRMs, OMSs, ad servers, and other digital media tech systems.
