About this Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Work Health & Safety Manager to join our team at our Lance Creek Facility.
As the Work Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the WHS function and influencing the overall WHS culture within the organisation. You will also help deliver and coordinate the WHS Management System (WHSMS) and activities that underpin it to lead business decisions and have a direct impact on business outcomes through employee safety and well-being.
You will work closely with Managers and Supervisors to ensure close out of Event Analysis and Corrective Actions in accordance with required timescales. This is a long-term career opportunity working for an enterprise business with Corporate Offices on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. We have recorded business growth of 20% year on year with sales in excess of $2 billion.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be degreed qualified in Workplace Health and Safety, have 3 plus years' experience in a large complex food and or manufacturing environment, large businesses experience, and a working knowledge of a People Safety Software and Platform.
About You:
- You will have experience working within the WHS field and possess a high degree of knowledge around the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
- You will have exceptional negotiation skills, combined with high-level communication that allows you to deal and influence within a business environment, at all levels and with a variety of key stakeholders.
