Senior Finance Manager Opportunity

Seeking a results-driven Senior Finance Manager to lead our Freight Forwarding division's financial strategy and operations.

This integral position plays a vital role in driving financial performance, maintaining strong financial governance, and delivering strategic insights that support sustainable business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, including executive presentations.
  • Review monthly financial performance and provide analysis on variances, cashflow, and working capital.
  • Provide commercial and financial guidance to support global freight operations and tax compliance.
  • Oversee monthly accounts, reconciliations, balance sheet, and year-end reporting.
  • Prepare internal reports, financial models, and capital expenditure proposals.
  • Support M&A activities and joint ventures, contributing to the growth and integration strategy.
  • Deliver clear, concise reporting and insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and implement new processes and systems.
Requirements:
  • 10–15 years' experience in accounting, financial management, and commercial leadership.
  • A background in shipping, freight forwarding, or general transport is desirable.
  • Proven experience in building new financial structures and systems from the ground up.
  • Familiarity with JV structures and M&A environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Commercial acumen with financial insight to drive results.
  • A flexible and collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Experience with CargoWise and/or Oracle systems is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of IFS code 8,15, and 16 is beneficial.
