The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Aboriginal health issues and a proven ability to work effectively with local Aboriginal communities and agencies. You will be responsible for providing liaison and linkage services, facilitating integrated care, and contributing to the promotion of our Reconciliation Action Plan.

Key Responsibilities- Provide culturally safe and respectful care to Aboriginal patients and families
- Work effectively with local Aboriginal communities and agencies to facilitate integrated care
- Contribute to the promotion of our Reconciliation Action Plan
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community-controlled organisations and health services
- Provide education and training to staff on Aboriginal health issues and cultural safety
- Hold or be working towards a Certificate IV in Aboriginal Primary Health Care (Practice)
- Be eligible to be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Have a strong understanding of Aboriginal health issues and a proven ability to work effectively with local Aboriginal communities and agencies
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Be able to work unsupervised and use your own initiative to develop and implement community development activities
