Key Engineering Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our water and wastewater infrastructure projects nationally.

This role offers an opportunity to shape systems and processes, bring governance frameworks to life, and play a pivotal part in our next stage of growth. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and overseeing engineering management for water and wastewater projects from design through to construction.
  • Driving the development of systems, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives.
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance across design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Working closely with project managers, site managers, construction teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and construction activities.
  • Leading and mentoring engineering teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources, skills, and training to deliver on project objectives.
  • Identifying potential risks related to engineering and construction and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in engineering management within the water and wastewater sector.
  • Strong expertise in design and construct projects, with hands-on experience in contractor-side delivery highly desirable.
  • A passion for building and improving systems, processes, and governance frameworks to drive project success.
