Compassionate Caregiver Wanted

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality care and support to our clients as a Care Assistant.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care and support to clients in line with their individualized care plans
  • Assist clients in developing skills to promote independence, enabling them to perform daily activities with confidence
  • Attend to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing, and other essential tasks
  • Collaborate with the care team to deliver holistic care that addresses every aspect of our clients' needs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Warm and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What We're Looking For:

  • Proof of immunity or willingness to become vaccinated against MMR, Varicella (Chicken Pox), and Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
  • Current Police Screening Certificate for enhanced background checks
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Home & Community Care
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificates for emergency response
  • A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance
  • Current Queensland driver's licence for safe transportation
  • Good computer and mobile device skills for administrative tasks
