Job Title: Dedicated Caregiver

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with various needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support clients in accessing the community, including attending appointments, social activities, and recreational outings.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medication as required and in accordance with care plans.
  • Monitor and report on clients' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
  • Follow care plans and ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Essential:
  • A genuine passion for helping others and making a difference.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • A current First Aid Certificate.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
  • Desirable:
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in aged care.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation and regulations.
