About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Child and Youth Mental Health Service. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-level clinical leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of treatment programs for children, young people, and their families.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health, with experience in complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Additionally, they will have a passion for providing a person-centred approach and working with children, young people, and their families who are experiencing mental health concerns.

About the Role:
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the team in the development and implementation of treatment programs for children, young people, and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with other stakeholders, including consultants and psychiatrists, to develop new child and youth mental health services in Tasmania.
  • Ensure that all services delivered by the team meet the highest standards of quality and evidence-based practice.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including family members and carers, to ensure that their needs are met and their voices are heard.
