CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Karratha's newest and best-equipped repair facility. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines, interpreting engineering drawings, and creating programs to manufacture high-precision parts.

About the Role:

  • Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and create programs to manufacture parts according to specifications.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished parts to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Develop and improve CNC programs to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production targets and resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in machining or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC machining with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent understanding of CNC machine operation, programming, and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
