Student Engagement Specialist

The Student Engagement Specialist role within the Behaviour Support Services team collaborates with regional and school staff to proactively plan for improved student engagement.

This involves building the capability of school teams to implement student support plans with increased confidence, leveraging existing policy and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with regional and school staff to develop proactive plans for student engagement.
  • Implementing student support plans aligned to Department of Education policy and procedure.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Relevant teaching qualification, as outlined by the Department of Education.
  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
  • Exemption card issued by Blue Card Services for working in Education and Care Services.
